Craving Steak or Fish? View the Country Squire Sulligent Menu Online
Alright, let me tell ya ’bout this Country Squire Steak & Fish place down in Sulligent. I ain’t no fancy food writer or nothin’, just tellin’ it like it is.
First off, findin’ the place ain’t too hard. It’s on that Highway 278, number 4551, I think they said. Easy enough to spot, even for an old gal like me. Big ol’ sign, can’t miss it.
Now, the food. That’s what really matters, right? They got all sorts of stuff, steak and fish, like the name says. But there’s more, lots more. I seen folks eatin’ all kinds of things.
- They got them steaks, cooked how you like ‘em. Rare, medium, well-done, you name it. I like mine medium, not too bloody, not too burnt.
- Then there’s the fish. Fried, grilled, I dunno, they do it all. I had me some fried catfish once, it was pretty good, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Just how I like it.
- And don’t forget the sides! Fries, mashed potatoes, green beans, coleslaw… all the fixin’s. I’m a sucker for them mashed potatoes, real creamy and buttery.
The place itself? It’s alright. Clean enough, you know. Not fancy, but comfortable. Plenty of tables, big enough for families and such. Folks seem friendly too. Waitresses are nice, always smilin’, even when they’re busy. And let me tell you, they get busy, especially on weekends.
Price-wise, it ain’t too bad. Not cheap, but not too expensive neither. You get what you pay for, I reckon. A good, solid meal that fills you up. That’s important, especially when you’re workin’ hard all day. You can’t be running on empty!
I heard some folks complainin’ about the wait times, especially on busy nights. But hey, good food takes time, right? You can’t rush these things. Besides, it gives you time to chat with your company, or look at your phone if that’s what young folks do these days. I prefer to look around and watch the people, much more interesting, let me tell ya.
I ain’t got no fancy phone to take pictures of the food, so you’ll just have to take my word for it. It’s good, honest food. Nothin’ pretentious or complicated. Just good cookin’, the way it should be.
If you’re ever down in Sulligent, Alabama and you’re hungry, give Country Squire Steak & Fish a try. It ain’t gonna break the bank, and you’ll leave with a full belly. That’s what I call a good deal.
They got a phone number too, if you want to call ahead or somethin’. I don’t remember it, but you can probably find it online, you know, them internets things. Or just drive down there, like I did. Sometimes, the old ways are the best ways, ya know?
One last thing, they do take-out too. So if you don’t want to eat in, you can take your food home. That’s handy, especially when you’re tired and just want to put your feet up.
So there you have it, my two cents on Country Squire Steak & Fish in Sulligent. It ain’t a five-star restaurant, but it’s a good place to get a good meal. And sometimes, that’s all you need. Good food, good folks, good price. What more can you ask for?
Now go on and give it a try. You might just like it. And if you don’t, well, you can’t please everyone, can ya? But I think most folks will be pretty happy with what they get there.
