Alright, let’s talk about this Joe’s Fish Co. place, you know, the one with the fish and all. I heard some things, seen some things, and ate some things there, so let me tell ya all about it.

First off, they got this menu, a real big one, full of stuff. I ain’t good with fancy words, but I know what I like. They got fish, lots of it. Fried fish, grilled fish, fish sandwiches… you name it, they probably got it. And let me tell you, some of it’s real good, like, “smack your lips” good. Other stuff, well, it’s alright, I guess.

Where is this Joe’s place, you ask? Well, some folks say it’s on the Boardwalk in Wildwood, New Jersey. They give out numbers like “3501 Boardwalk” or “2701 Boardwalk”. I don’t know what all them numbers mean, but it’s on the Boardwalk, that’s for sure. You can’t miss it, big place with lots of people milling around. And they got this outdoor seating, so you can sit and watch the folks go by while you eat your fish. That’s kinda nice, I reckon.

  • They got fried fish, like I said.
  • And they got them shrimp too. Some kinda spicy sauce on ’em, they call it “sriracha mayo”. I ain’t sure what that is, but it tastes alright, a little bit hot, you know.
  • Oh, and they got burgers too! Big ol’ beef burgers with cheese. Not sure why you’d go to a fish place for a burger, but hey, to each their own, I always say. They say it’s “8oz Prime Angus grass fed beef burger”. Sounds fancy, huh? But it just tastes like a good burger to me.

Now, about them prices… well, it ain’t cheap, I tell ya that. But then again, nothing’s cheap these days, is it? You gotta pay for good food, I guess. And some of it is real good, like I said. Them shrimps, they cost a pretty penny, but they’re big and juicy. And the fish, well, it depends on what kind you get. Some are cheaper, some are more expensive. You just gotta look at the menu and figure out what you wanna spend. They got the menu posted up big so you can see it, even if your eyes ain’t so good no more. Folks say you can find the menu and prices online too, but I don’t know nothin’ about that computery stuff.

They talk about “fresh seafood”, and I gotta say, it does taste fresh. Not like that frozen stuff you get at the grocery store. This tastes like it just came outta the ocean. I don’t know how they do it, but they do it good. And they got plenty of it too. You don’t have to worry about them runnin’ out, that’s for sure. They bringin’ in them fish all day long, it seems like.

Some folks call it a “seafood shack,” and I guess that’s about right. It ain’t fancy, but it’s clean, and the folks who work there are nice enough. They got this “old-timey nautical decor” they talk about, which just means they got some ropes and anchors and stuff hanging around. It looks kinda nice, I guess. And they got a rooftop bar too, with a view of the Boardwalk. I ain’t been up there, but I heard it’s nice. You can see everything from up there, they say.

So, if you’re lookin’ for some fish, Joe’s Fish Co. is a good place to go. It ain’t perfect, but it’s good. And you can sit outside and watch the people go by, which is always fun. Just bring your wallet, cause it ain’t cheap. But hey, good food never is, right? And they got plenty of it, so you won’t leave hungry, that’s for sure. Now, I’m gettin’ hungry just talkin’ about it. Maybe I’ll go down there myself later and get some of them shrimps. Yeah, that sounds good. Real good.

Anyways, that’s all I gotta say about Joe’s Fish Co. Go on down there and see for yourself. You might like it, you might not. But at least you can say you tried it. And that’s all that matters, right?
