Food in Fortuna, lemme tell ya, it’s somethin’ alright. You know, for a small place, they got a fair bit to eat. Ain’t nothin’ fancy, but it’ll fill your belly.

You got this place, Mercadito Arenal. It’s like a market, got a bunch of food stalls. Now, don’t go expectin’ no fancy plates. It’s just good, honest food. You can get a meal for ten bucks, easy. People say it’s casual, I say it’s just plain folks eatin’. You get your fill, that’s what matters.

Then there’s La Costa, they got that Mexican food. Tacos, burritos, you know the drill. It’s good, spicy sometimes, but good. People seem to like it, got a lot of good words said about it. Four stars, they say. Means it’s pretty darn good.

  • Then there’s Kome, somethin’ different, they say. Japanese food, sushi and all that. Fancy stuff, kinda. Folks rave about it though, 4.5 stars. Must be doin’ somethin’ right.
  • And if you want somethin’ plain, there’s Redwood Cafe. American food, burgers and fries, you know. Can’t go wrong with that. Good for when you don’t wanna think too hard about what to eat.

There’s another one, Tiquicia Restaurant. Heard it’s near the town center, easy to find. They say it’s great, whatever that means. Probably got good food, I reckon.

Fortuna, it’s a small town. Got trees and a river, nice and quiet. But the food, it’s a surprise. You wouldn’t think a little place like this would have so much to eat. From Mexican to Japanese, they got it all, kinda. It ain’t the big city, but it’ll do.

So if you ever find yourself in Fortuna, don’t worry about goin’ hungry. They got plenty of places to fill your belly. Just walk around, you’ll find somethin’. Ain’t gonna be fancy, but it’ll be good. Good, honest food for good, honest folks.

You know, food’s food. As long as it fills your belly and tastes alright, that’s all that matters. And in Fortuna, you’ll find plenty of that. So go on, eat up, don’t be shy. They got somethin’ for everyone, I reckon.
